Hello everyone! My name is Andres and I’ve been fortunate enough to have been invited and accepted into an intensive law and trial program taking place at Stanford University in which I will participate in hands on case work, mock trial studies, and be able to attend lectures given by experts in the field. The program itself lasts a total of 10 days and takes place in July of this summer. Despite this wonderful news, the cost of the full experience is steep, at around $6,000. Given these circumstances, and the high costs, we are determined to raise money for me to attend. As for what I’m hoping to get out of the program, is a full hands on experience of what attending law school is actually like, while being able to connect with kids my age who also have the same interest as me. I also feel this program will prove to be very valuable in giving me actually useful experience, not to mention it would also be very nice to have when applying for college.
