On Thursday, April 18th, our dear sister Andrea Bethel was rushed to the emergency room with a blood pressure of 210/110 and a heart rate of 39 beats per minute. After many tests, she was diagnosed with a third-degree AV block which indicates a complete loss of communication between the upper and lower chambers of the heart. Since the necessary care is not available in Grand Bahama, Andrea was airlifted to Nassau where she is currently in the intensive care unit awaiting heart surgery her only solution.
