Andrea Needs Cataract Surgery-Your Support Means the World

Hello friends and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a humble request. I need cataract surgery as soon as possible, but unfortunately, my insurance won't cover the specialized torque lenses needed for the procedure. Each lens costs $2,500, and I need two—one for each eye—bringing the total to $5,000. While my insurance will help with a portion of the surgery, these lenses are critical for restoring my vision, and I simply can’t afford them on my own. The out of pocket cost for my insurance for the surgery is $1800.

At the moment, my vision is severely affecting my health and my ability to work. I’m experiencing constant vertigo, nausea, headaches, and other symptoms that make it nearly impossible to do the job I love—doing hair. It breaks my heart that I can’t work.

In order to move forward with the surgery, I’m using a credit card to cover the cost of the procedure.
