Andrea is an amazing, active and loving mother to 5 kids of her own plus 4 bonus kids. 4 of her kids are still at home, ages 9, 11, 15, and 17. She is compassionate, caring and has a serving heart. Andrea currently lives across the country from her Family in Wisconsin Rapids, Wi, and resides in Venice, FL. Unfortunately, they don't have family near for extra support during this time.

In her day to day life Andrea can be found cooking meals for the family, doing household chores, running the kids to sports/activities, attending church, and working diligently at Epiphany Cathedral School.

Unfortunately on 4/28/24 things took a quick, unexpected turn down a hard path for their family. Andrea suffered from 2 strokes that day, landing herself in the hospital. After the doctors ran testing and started her on some medication she was released.

These strokes took place in the part of the brain that controls sensation. Because of this, a few days later Andrea ended up back in the hospital due to Residual effects from the strokes. These residual effects cause vertigo, limb numbness, weakness, and tingling.

Andrea is now at home with no answers as to what has caused these strokes. She currently can't be left alone, and can't work so both her and her husband Ted are off with little to no income coming in. As you can imagine, the expenses of having 4 kids at home quickly adds up, along with hospital bills & house bills that keep coming even during hard times like this.

Stress can slow down the recovery process for Stroke survivors, so we (the family) are making this go fund me in hopes of taking off some of the financial stress so they can focus on what matters most right now, Andrea's recovery. ❤️
