On May 28th, Andrea was involved in a serious horseback riding accident while on vacation in Costa Rica. She suffered a ruptured spleen and required an emergency splenectomy. The experience was frightening for Andrea and everyone who cares about her. She is still in the hospital in Costa Rica recovering.

Andrea is a dedicated hair stylist, who loves helping her clients feel their best. Because of her injuries, she will need to miss work for an extended period while she recovers. She is also a single mom. Unfortunately, Andrea’s health insurance does not cover international medical care, leaving her with significant hospital bills and recovery expenses. The costs of her surgery, hospital stay, ongoing treatment, and lost income are adding up quickly. Andrea is a caring person who has always been there for her friends, and now she needs our support more than ever.
