Andrea and I became friends two years ago when I moved next door to her. Our children go to school together, and over time, she’s become someone I can always count on. She’s the kind of person who would do anything for anyone—she’s helped me with my kids, had my back through tough times, and is just a genuinely good person.
Recently, Andrea, her fiancé, and their three children (ages 11, 10, and 5) experienced a devastating house fire. In a matter of moments, they lost everything—their home, their belongings, and all sense of normalcy. Now, they are in the ICU fighting to recover from their injuries. To make things even harder, they have no family here in Kansas City and are facing this completely on their own.
We are raising funds to help Andrea’s family cover immediate needs like clothing, essentials, and temporary housing, as well as medical expenses, ongoing care, and replacing basic necessities. Both Andrea and her fiancé work hard every day to support their three children, and this support will help them rebuild their lives. Anything you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer—truly makes a difference for this wonderful family.
Since the family has lost everything in the fire (bank cards, ID's etc.) I will be depositing the money into my bank account & pulling it to give her in cash.
