Hey y’all, it’s Andrea!

I hope everyone’s well. As most of you know, I’m in my last year of high school—Class of 2025, we’re almost there! It’s such a surreal feeling, knowing graduation is just around the corner. I’ve been thinking a lot about my future lately, and I have some pretty big dreams. More than anything, I want to make a real difference in people’s lives.

I want to be someone that people can count on—a friend who listens when life gets overwhelming. Whether it’s stress from work, family stuff, or even just venting about a rough game their team lost, I want to be there. That’s why I’m passionate about social work. I truly believe that my empathy, compassion, and love for people will help me be great at it!

Now, here’s the juicy stuff—recently, I was blessed with an incredible opportunity. I have the chance to study Psychology, abroad in Japan, for a whole year! I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am. This experience would allow me to grow in so many ways! Whether this be learning in a completely new culture, becoming more independent, gaining confidence, and building relationships with people from across the world.

But, as with most amazing opportunities, there’s a bump in my road…the cost. Tuition, travel, housing… it all adds up fast. And that’s why I’m reaching out to the people who’ve always believed in me. Your support; whether it’s encouragement, sharing my story, or helping out financially, would mean the world to me.

This journey could truly change my life, and I’m so ready to take that next step. I just need a little help getting there. Thank you all so much for always having my back. I love y’all more than you know!
