Support Andrea's Battle with Leukemia

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Aiden, and I’m writing this because someone I love deeply—Andye— a daughter, a mother, a grandmother, and a sister needs help. And I’m doing everything I can from where I am, but it’s gotten to the point where andrea needs help I cannot provide.

Watching someone you care about suffer like this is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Andrea has been through more in the past couple years than most people go through in a lifetime. And even though I’ve tried to be strong for her, the truth is—it’s been really hard. Emotionally, Physically, mentally. It's straining on me, I am only 15 and I cant do a lot. Her mother Camille Takes care of her and she is almost 80 years old. They need help with things they cannot do.

It all started with a back surgery that actually helped at first. She was healing, feeling better, and for a moment, things were looking up. But then we got the call: the bone graft used in the surgery was contaminated with tuberculosis.

She was put on 16 different medications a day for almost a year. The treatment wrecked her body and spirit, but she powered through it like she always does—telling herself things would get better.

But then it got worse.

Her white blood cell count kept climbing. She had a bone marrow biopsy scheduled, and during a Cat Scan, she coded. Her heart stopped. She died and was brought back. I can't even explain the feeling of almost losing her that day. That moment changed everything.

After that, she started having severe stomach issues. Eventually, her colon ruptured. Now she lives with an ostomy bag—a daily reminder of everything she's lost and endured.

And just when we thought we had faced the worst, she was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). Cancer. On top of everything else.

She is in pain every single day. She’s tired. She’s scared. And so am I. I do what I can—but the cost of her chemo meds is beyond what our household can afford

Her insurance only covers so much, and what’s left is overwhelming. These meds are keeping her alive.

I’m asking for help not because I want pity, but because I truly don’t know what else to do. I want Andrea to have a chance. A chance to keep fighting. A chance to heal. A chance to just live.

If you can donate anything—even a little—it will make a huge difference. And if you can’t, please share this. Every bit of support helps, and we need all the help we can get.

Thank you for reading this. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping me keep hope alive—for both of us.
