Help Save My Brother: A Father, Husband, and Son

My brother, only 30 years old, is fighting for his life in the Trauma Neuro ICU. A loving husband and devoted father to his young son, he was full of life just weeks ago—working hard, making his little boy laugh, and dreaming of the future with his family. Now, he lies in a hospital bed, battling a severe and rare infection that has spread to his brain, chest, and colon. What started as a seemingly small illness quickly turned into something unimaginable.

He started feeling unwell, and despite visiting multiple hospitals, we were told it was likely just a virus—his age made it seem impossible for something serious to be happening and unfortunately he got sent home twice and almost a third time. But deep down, we knew something was wrong.

Doctors discovered hundreds of abscesses in his brain, a life-threatening condition that has left him intubated, unable to speak, and fighting every second just to stay with us. His wife and son are by his side, holding onto hope, praying for a miracle, and navigating a reality no family should ever have to face.

Despite the incredible efforts of his medical team, his condition remains critical. He’s undergone multiple procedures, including the placement of two external ventricular drain (EVD) in his brain, and is on powerful antibiotics to stop the infection. But time is of the essence, and we are seeking urgent consultations with top specialists who may be able to adjust his treatment and give him the best possible chance at recovery.

This fight is not just medical—it is financial. His wife is doing everything she can, but the weight of hospital bills, second opinion consultations, and lost income is unbearable. No family should have to worry about finances while fighting for a loved one’s life.
