Hello, my name is Merchelle Stewart. I am asking for your help because on 7/21/24 at approximately 5:00 p.m., a tragedy occurred. My nephew Andre' Irvin came home only to find that his home and everything he owned was blazing with fire and smoke. He ran inside the apartment, to rescue his pit bull, Sniper, and to try and salvage some of his personal items. Thankfully, he was able to rescue Sniper.

Andre' is a dedicated, hard-working father with three sons, a pit bull, and one daughter. He has been unable to work since February of 2024 due to a severe accident, that caused him to have a broken hip, leg, and neck. He is in the process of undergoing physical therapy to get himself back on his feet and now he has yet another horrific event occur that has caused him to lose everything. His clothes, shoes, personal items, his children's clothes, shoes and personal items and other necessities. It has been about six months and Andre' and family are still trying to get on their feet. They are in temporary housing right now, but they are in need of help to to a permanent place to live. Any help that you can give is appreciated. No donation is too small.
