At around 1:30 pm on November 9, 2024, Andre Davis was traveling eastbound on Delmar and Limit on his scooter. Andre soon began to hydroplane and flew off his scooter. He then hit his head on the trolley track and continued to slide to the opposite side of the street. He was rushed to Barnes Hospital where the initial scan showed no true injuries. I'm so happy they didn't send him home because shortly after, his brain began to bleed and swell. At that point, he fell into an injury-induced coma. He then had to have emergency surgery to remove the left portion of his skull due to all the swelling and bleeding. As the days have passed, we have been praying for a miracle that Andre shakes this horrible event and comes out of this coma. It is now day 8, and he's still in a coma. He has now begun to catch other illnesses, which can occur with just being in the hospital and being intubated. We (the family) are setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of receiving help with his hospital, house bills, and any ongoing financial needs he may need. As he will have a long journey ahead of him. We will continue to fight this battle to get back to the U-City Andre Davis (Drac-Pack) we all know and love.
Thank you,
