Help My Father & Grandfather Rebuild After Devastating Jamaica Hurricane

My name is Cheyanne Gordon, daughter of Andre Gordon and granddaughter of Shayne Gordon, and I’m raising funds for our family home in Westmoreland, Jamaica — where my father and grandfather live.

After a full week of fear, praying, and not knowing if my family would be safe, I finally heard from them and received some devastating news: the hurricane ripped the roof off their house, every floor is flooded, their windows are blown out, and they’ve lost nearly everything they owned. The damage is profound, and pictures truly don’t show the emotional and physical toll this has taken.

Now, they can’t safely stay in their home, and access to food, clean water, safe shelter, and supplies is extremely limited.

We are seeking to raise $15,000 to:

• Install a new roof

• Replace all windows

• Replace destroyed furniture, clothing, and household items

• Purchase food, clean water, temporary shelter, and emergency supplies
