My name is Frankie & I’m raising emergency funds for my dear friend Andi. On Friday August 1st, she was admitted to the hospital after suffering from a stroke, leaving her partially numb on her right side & some difficulty walking & speaking. Since then she’s missed work resulting in a loss of income, & is facing growing medical expenses as she recovers. At this point in time she estimates that $2,000 may be enough to cover missed wages & living expenses to get her back on her feet, outside of any emerging medical bills. More about me, this is actually the first time I’ve ever had to crowdfund for a friend in serious need. I consider Andi one of my best friends, with a warm spirit who loves to sing & chooses to see the good in everything. She asked me to set this thing up for her because she trusts me to carefully communicate her situation to anyone in her life, or to anybody, who sees this.
