This past weekend, Connor received an unexpected call that no young adult wishes to experience. Connor's mother, Andie was taken to the hospital after experiencing a massive stroke while at a co-worker’s home. Since her intake, she has undergone surgery and is currently being treated in the ICU, joined by family and friends. Although hope is still being held, it is being met with incredibly difficult and life changing decisions needing to be made. While health insurance coverage has been obtained, the financial responsibility of circumstances like this begin to add up. Connor is doing his best to honor his mother's wishes and prepare for what the future will look like. Connor has already experienced the loss of his father.
