Our beloved brother Steve had a tragic accident in Portugal while on holiday with his family. He has been in hospital in a coma with his family around him since sunday and this morning at 1am his spirit flew on to the stars.
We now have confirmation that very kindly the considerable hospital bills will be covered. This fundraiser is now dedicated to covering the costs of bringing his body home and raising funds for his funeral and supporting his family through the next crucial months. We are inviting you to dig deep in memory of our generous and loving friend, father and partner who will always be sharing his cheeky laughter and kind, loving soul in our hearts and memories. Sending much love to Eartha, Samara and Brannoc and Taran, Ash, Zani and Ava, Anu and Umai. Prayers, positive visualizations and any support for them are much needed now. As one of Steve's oldest friends in Wales and a friend of both Eartha and Samara I was asked to manage this fundraiser by them. I have taken responsibility for withdrawing the funds to refund emergency flights to members of his family who rushed out to support the situation, pay for necessary flight changes for Eartha and her children, cover the costs of the repatriation of Steve's body and the funeral costs. Any money left over from these practical expenses will go to Steve's boys to support them emotionally over the next few months. I will be holding all the donations safely as instructed by Steve's family until they are needed for bills, expenses to be paid.
