Support and Prayers for Sally & Lee Rosenfeld

Hello, Friends. This GoFundMe page is for a dear friend, Lee Rosenfeld. Lee had undergone “routine” surgery on December 21, 2022. The surgery was supposed to last about 2 hours, but 15 minutes into the surgery, his heart stopped and he had to be resuscitated twice. Lee has been sedated and intubated in ICU ever since.

On January 6, 2023 Lee had a tracheotomy and a feeding tube inserted. We hope this will allow Lee to come out of the sedatives and be more responsive. This fund will, for now, assist with housing costs for Sally (Lee’s wife) while Lee is in Glendale, AZ. Lee & Sally live in Chino Valley, AZ, a 2 hour drive to Glendale (one-way). Lee’s prognosis is undetermined as of today, but he could be in ICU for another month or so with rehab to follow, which we hope will be located locally in Chino Valley.

Lee volunteers as an Arizona Ranger and has many interests such as classic cars, trains, and just helping people in general. We will update this page with Lee’s progress as things change. Visitors are welcome but since Lee is in the ICU, we have to limit guests to 2 at a time in the room. There is a large waiting room close by to allow for a “changing of the guard” at any time.
