Support and Prayers for Danielle

Dear Family & Friends, 

We are starting this Go Fund me in hopes to help our sister who is a single mother of two little daughters and will be out of work for some time. With all her medical bills and being out of work for a couple months times are tough, and we would love to help her without her being so stressed out and worried about all the bills and focus on getting her health back. Here is her story……

Many of you know that our dear sister was diagnosed back in March 2018 with Ulcerative Colitis and it’s put her in and out of the hospital many times since this past August due to her health declining. She is set up to start Remicade infusions to hopefully help achieve remission and get her back to a healthy young mother to her two little daughters Laylah (5) & Madison (2). A little over two weeks ago Danielle was feeling some pain in her fingers and didn’t think a whole lot of it besides maybe some arthritis pain but she was wrong. Two weeks ago, on Wednesday January 8th Danielle’s pointer finger was turning purple/black and she was experiencing a lot of pain, so she left work and went straight to the emergency room and was admitted. The first few days they were not sure why this was happening. Doctors then discovered she had a clogged artery/blood clot in her arm. There is about a 10% chance of trying to save as much of the finger as they can, or they will have to amputate. They started Danielle on daily treatments in an HBO (hyperbaric oxygen) chamber to try and get oxygen flow back into her finger as much as they can. Good news it was starting to help. But the Doctors wanted it to work faster, so they then tried another medication to help get some blood flow to her fingers and that is when it took a turn for the worst. She had a bad reaction to the medicine put her into extreme pain and developed an infection in her neck which closed her throat, leaving her not able to breathe well and very swollen vocal cords. Which has now put her in the ICU.
