Rachel and Eli Nicks recently welcomed their baby girl, Priscilla, into the world under unexpected and challenging circumstances.

During labor, concerns arose about Priscilla’s heart rate, and Rachel was brought to the hospital where she underwent an emergency C-section. After birth, Priscilla experienced breathing difficulties after swallowing meconium and needed immediate medical support, including intubation. She has since received blood transfusions and critical care as doctors worked to stabilize her.

This morning, an echocardiogram showed that Priscilla has a serious heart condition that requires a specialized treatment. She will need to be life-flighted to Dallas to receive the care she needs from a specialized medical team. While the road ahead is uncertain, Rachel and Eli need as much support as possible.

Rachel and Eli are currently uninsured and will face significant medical expenses related to the delivery, Priscilla’s care, and the upcoming transport and treatments. This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden so they can focus on supporting Priscilla during this time and recovery for Rachel.
