Love and Support for Jason Parrott

Donation protected
On Saturday February 16th, my brother Jason went to the ER at Covington Multicare to be treated  for symptoms of the flu. He was admitted there due to low oxygen levels. The next day a chest x-ray showed he had pneumonia and could not breathe on his own. He would require specialized care with a ventilator. He was airlifted to Good Samaritan Multicare in Puyallup Sunday night. They tried a machine that would move him from side to side to clear his lungs but was unsuccessful and concluded he needed a facility that could handle the severity of his case.

On Tuesday February 19th, a medical team from Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Or. came up to transport him to their facility. He was put on a VDR machine (a ventilator that works to break up stuff in his lungs). He remains on the VDR while sedated and on a paralytic in critical condition.

Jason and his family have a long road ahead of them. When he wakes up and is able to breathe on his own, he will be facing extensive rehabilitation and recovery to gain strength back.

All donations received will go to supporting his families lodging and living expenses while they stand vigil and hopeful by his side. Also his mounting medical bills and recovery.

The hope is to make this as easy on him as possible so he can focus on his recovery and getting back to daily life with his wife Myra and two daughters Selena(6) and Amaya(3).

Strong heart, strong lungs, strong mind!!

Thank you everyone.
