Support and Help Joe during his Total Disability

Hi, my name is Laura Aiello, I am Joe Schreiber’s sister. My brother Joe has been battling for his health since December. Shortly after having Covid his symptoms worsened and he received a devastating diagnosis of Lupus. He also suffers from heart problems as well. His symptoms have become so painful and debilitating that he had to take leave from his job at Dollar General- WITH NO PAY/Income and apply for disability. Most of you know Joe as a friend, or from Dollar General and have been asking about him, praying for him and offers of help. Joe needs financial help desperately. He has been out of work for months now totally disabled awaiting a decision from disability, which can take months. His fiancé Nicole who he always took care of is by his side, but also suffers from severe disability. They need help. My brother has always been my biggest supporter during my battle with Lupus, and I love him very much. If you know Joe, then you know he would go above and beyond for his friends, family and even customers at his job at DollarGeneral. He always makes time for anyone who needs a person to talk to or lean on. He is also a father of a daughter and a son, and loves his dogs with all of his heart. He put his health on the line during the last 2 years as a low paid “Essential Worker” during the worst of Covid, going to work every day so others had what they needed.  There are so many of us that are just 1 paycheck loss away from losing everything…and now my brother is one of those unfortunate people. You never expect to 1 day wake up and not get better.  Doctor co-pays, gas money, groceries, dog food, toiletries, money to pay bills & all the daily essentials are needed. Your generosity is greatly needed and appreciated right now. Without income they will lose their apartment. Any dollar amount is appreciated-$10 is very generous! His spirits need a big pick up, as this is as mentally devastating as it is physically. If you can’t donate please keep him in your prayers.. 2 years ago he turned his life around & moved away with the love of his life for a fresh start, and I never saw him so happy.  One day I hope he gets better and I get to see him “living” his best life again.
