Support and Aid for My Dad Battling Stomach Cancer

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for taking time to read my dad’s story. We recently learned that he has been diagnosed with stomach cancer, with fluid buildup in his abdomen. He is fighting daily with pain.

My name is Blake Brewer, and my family has hit a difficult time. My dad, who is an amazing man, has provided so much for our family through the years. Last week he was having horrible stomach pain which led to an emergency visit to the hospital. He’s been so strong and resilient not only through this time but his entire life. My dad has continually been a rock in our family and now it is time for us to support him. Doctors have diagnosed him stomach cancer and an ulcer. They are doing all they can as they treat his symptoms. It has caused severe pain. The doctors are exhaustively testing to find the origin of the cancer but with these extensive tests comes a heavy financial burden. 

My dad is a construction worker that is dedicated to his job but with his time in the hospital he is unable to provide income for himself. He is a devoted father that would do anything for his children and family. He stuck by my side when I had appendicitis and had the most difficult time of my life. It is now my turn to stand by his side and take his hand as he fights cancer.
