If you know Anca, you know that she is endlessly generous, selfless, and optimistic. It has been very difficult and impressive to watch her struggle for the past few years, working hard to care for sick family members while still somehow maintaining her high standard of patient care. She has also accrued significant debt in the process. After nursing family back to health, she has encountered her own web of confusing and debilitating medical conditions which have been challenging to diagnose. The most urgent of these is a cerebrospinal fluid leak which is inhibiting her from living her life to any meaningful degree. Fortunately, she has been approved to see a surgeon in California who will be able to operate on her leak. Unfortunately, her disability has prevented her from working an adequate number of hours and her medical debt will only continue to grow. It remains unknown if insurance will cover her surgery and associated procedures/diagnostics, or to what degree. Any amount is helpful, no matter how small, even a penny and well wishes :-)
