Hello, my name is Anastacia Losoya-bishop.

I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to travel to University of California, Berkley for a business and innovation program that can help me earn college credits and prepare me for my future. This experience will allow me to learn real-world skills, explore new ideas, and take an important step towards my goals in life. I’ve had quite a different childhood than most, but that hasn’t stopped me from achieving what I want. Sometimes people ask, “what’s something we don’t know about you” and when I say I’m adopted, they think I’m joking but I’m not and they realize I’m serious. I am extremely grateful I was adopted. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I have an extraordinary mom who gives me many opportunities. This opportunity means the world to me because if you asked me two years ago if I’d be here, I’d tell you not a chance in the world; but here I am with this opportunity. I am currently working to raise money to cover the tuition of this trip and I would truly appreciate your support. This opportunity will help me grow, learn new things, and experience something I may not get the chance to do again. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me a step closer to my goal.
