To know Ana, is to love her. My mom earlier in 2025 was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. After living a healthy and active life, this diagnosis was extremely surprising and out of nowhere. The cancer is a rare mutation and is very aggressive — which is why it even can survive in someone who was so healthy. Since then, she’s endured multiple hospitalizations, the cancer spreading to her brain, and a stroke — which have had a large impact on her quality of life and current state. Throughout all of this, she still keeps a smile on her face and cracks a joke every chance she gets. I’m putting together this GoFundMe to raise money for her medical bills and care expenses. We don’t know what the future holds, but our faith has never wavered and we still know our God is good.
