Help Ana Support Her Family After ICE Detention
On the night of May 3, 2025, Ana and her fiancé were detained in a joint operation by Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and ICE—an action that disproportionately targeted the Latino community under the guise of "traffic safety."
Ana was released a few hours later, but her fiancé remains in ICE detention in Louisiana. This sudden separation has left Ana as the sole provider for her family, including her 8-year-old son, who is trying to stay strong for his mom during this difficult time.
Since her release, Ana has bravely spoken out publicly about the conditions and injustices of the system. News Channel 4 Segment featuring Ana
She was recently featured in a New York Times video that documents her experience and the broader impact of these targeted operations (link coming soon)
Unfortunately, Ana is now facing an economic crisis. We are trying to raise funds to give her 3 months of stability. She needs immediate help to:
- Pay her monthly rent $900/month
- Cover her electric bill $100/month
- Keep the water running $40/month
Ana’s situation became even more difficult last week when her car was broken into, making it harder to get to work or care for her son.
How You Can Help
Donate – Every dollar (minus GoFundMe fees) will go directly to Ana for her essential living expenses.
Offer Support – If you can help with housing, transportation, or long-term resources, please reach out. Even small acts of solidarity go a long way.
Ana has shown great courage in the face of injustice. Now it's our turn to stand with her.
Please donate and share this fundraiser widely.
