Support Anania's Education Journey at Howard

Hi everyone! My name is Anania Wills, and I am a rising junior at Howard University majoring in Sociology. I am currently in need of financial support in order to continue my academic journey at Howard in the upcoming semester.

My family’s financial situation has been rocky ever since attending Howard University and still my family has made it through every time, until now. During my first two years at Howard, my family had to deal with different financially striking matters, such as family deaths, personal challenges, and numerous health issues for both me and my parents.

My family has saved up a considerable amount of money for the balance but are still in need of support to reach our goal before July 31st. This is the date required by Howard in order to still be enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester. Howard University has warned that if they do not receive payment by this date, then they will be sending accounts with outstanding balances to collections which will subject them to high interest fees.

I want nothing more than to be both a successful Howard student and graduate. I am a 4.0 student who has an extreme love for the school and has represented them on many occasions. Additionally, I am a member of various clubs and organizations and an active volunteer. Even then, there is so much more I have planned for my next semester and so much I still wished to complete at Howard.

My dream is to work within the field of education, helping all children receive equal access to quality education and care. To me, education is one of the most important parts of society and is crucial for the development of children. Right now, I feel like a pawn stuck within the very system that I spent my last few years studying how to fix.
