Dear Ananda College Alumni, Supporters, and Friends,

We are a group of Ananda College alumni who remain deeply grateful for the world-class education that shaped our lives and careers. As George Washington Carver said, “Education is the key that unlocks the golden door to freedom.”

That education opened countless doors for us—in universities, research, and corporate leadership across the United States. Today, we have an opportunity to open those same doors for the next generation of Anandians by helping them step into one of the most dynamic frontiers of our time: Artificial Intelligence.

Our fellow Old Anandians in Sri Lanka have already done remarkable work—renovating the five-story Science Building and dedicating an entire floor to a new AI Center. What remains is to equip and complete the space so students can learn, experiment, and innovate.

To bring this vision to life, we aim to raise $100,000 (Rs. 30 million) for essential items such as servers, laptops, and monitors, as well as the interior build-out. The attached exhibits highlight the extraordinary progress already made.

Every contribution—large or small—moves us closer to that goal. 100% of the funds (net of GoFundMe fees) will go directly toward the AI Center’s equipment and setup. Your generosity will help nurture young minds, create future-ready AI engineers, and strengthen both Sri Lanka’s and America’s innovation ecosystems.
