Our granddaughter, Anahia, has a trip of a lifetime opportunity and would like to explain her story. These are her words as we told her we would help, but she had to write an explanation. Anahia is in 8th grade and trying to raise money for her school trip. The words below are written by her. Any help would be greatly appreciated as she is super excited, but the trip is nearly $2000.

"It’s really important to me to go on my 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C. because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the places I’ve learned about in school. Visiting the monuments, museums, and historic landmarks will help me understand history in a more personal and meaningful way. It’s also a chance to bond with my classmates and make memories before we move on to high school. I want to experience the city’s culture and see how decisions that shape our country are made. This trip means a lot to me because it represents both learning and growing as a student and as a person."
