Me dirijo a ustedes con el respeto de siempre para solicitar su valiosa colaboración. Como muchos saben, mi hermana atraviesa una situación difícil tras su detención injusta el pasado 22 de febrero en Lake Placid, NY. Desde ese momento, iniciamos una campaña de recaudación y, gracias a la generosidad de todos, logramos cubrir la meta inicial que nos permitió costear gran parte de los gastos, principalmente para la solicitud de Habeas Corpus.

El pasado 21 de abril, Anaelisa tuvo su audiencia de asilo, el cual lamentablemente fue denegado. Sin embargo, aún tenemos la oportunidad legal de apelar esta decisión. Esta apelación es fundamental, ya que es el requisito necesario para que ella pueda optar por la libertad a través del Habeas Corpus mientras continúa su proceso.

Debido a los nuevos honorarios y trámites que esto conlleva, recurrimos nuevamente a su solidaridad. Cualquier contribución, sin importar el monto, suma significativamente para ayudarnos a cubrir los gastos de la apelación y luchar por su libertad.

Hello everyone, my name is Sergio Espina, brother of Anaelisa Espina.

I am reaching out to you with the utmost respect to ask for your valuable support. As many of you know, my sister has been going through a very difficult situation following her unjust detention on February 22 in Lake Placid, NY. On April 21, Anaelisa attended her asylum hearing, which unfortunately was denied. However, we still have the legal opportunity to appeal this decision. This appeal is crucial, as it is the necessary step for her to qualify for release through Habeas Corpus while her case continues.
