Hello, my name is Ana Stecklein.

On February 29th I was hospitalized due to losing consciousness during convulsions that have yet to be diagnosed. I continued to stay in the hospital until March 3rd. After I was discharged from the hospital I realized soon afterwards that returning to work would not be an option as I had originally planned. To this day I suffer from muscle weakness, convulsions, severe chronic migraines, nerve pain, and balance issues.

Currently I am working with my medical team to find the right combination of medication and physical therapy to get me back on my feet in order to get me to where I was before I was hospitalized. Prior to being hospitalized I was a full time worker and a full time student. In highschool I was an athlete and stayed relatively active up until I was 21 which was around the time I started noticing more health issues related to the ones that lead to my hospitalization. My husband and I are relying on our family at the moment but unfortunately due to the ongoing ER visits and specialist visits we have decided it's time to ask others for help as well. My hope is that others' kindness can help me and my husband get us through this tough time in our life God-willing.

Anything big or small will help us with my ongoing treatment to find a diagnosis for my convulsions, get through financially without worry of my loss of income, and be able to focus on my physical therapy and medication rotations to get back on my feet.
