Support Ana Maria Ferrari's Cancer Battle & Recovery

My name is Julieta Ferrari. First and foremost, thank you to all who have taken the time to click on this GoFundMe to help my mother, Ana Maria Ferrari. In early April, 2025, after having lost her voice acutely from one day to the next and after many tests, my mother has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Thyroid Cancer.

To all who have known my mother thru the years know that nothing stops her! She’s had a rough life from very young and throughout her life… despite the obstacles and heartbreak, she never once faltered to put everyone else before herself and her needs. Many may or may not know, but this isn’t my mother’s first bout with cancer. Back in 2000, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer and luckily was able to be treated before it spread. A diagnosis that she kept from

her children for several years and only have learned about her having had this cancer about 4 years later. My mom isn’t one to ask for help or pity, however with everything that’s been taking place, I am asking for help on her behalf. She is scheduled for surgery on June 12th. Afterwards, she will be hospitalized for at least 2 weeks in the ICU and beyond that, we don’t know what the results will be for how much longer she will unable to work. My mom at almost 75 years of age is STILL working and with this diagnosis, will need to stop and with her being the sole breadwinner between my father and her, since my father became disabled in 2011, this will put a definite strain on finances. This is why I’ve decided to start this GoFundMe, to ease the burden on my mom and help her focus on fighting this cancer and getting better. I am hoping to raise enough funds to not only help with daily financial obligations but also to help pay for the growing medical bills. My mother, Ana Maria Ferrari, has always been the backbone and problem solver of the family, no matter the issue or loss, she’s always managed to fight thru and keep going. I hope the outcome of this current medical battle, she’s able to do the same.
