La mañana del sábado 17 de mayo de 2025, nuestra querida Ana Karen Pedrero falleció inesperadamente. Ana Karen fue una hija, hermana y madre devota que trajo mucha alegría y energía a todos los que la rodeaban. Ella era el alma de la fiesta, siempre haciendo reír a la gente y sentirse bienvenida. Su amor por el océano era inigualable: le gustaba pescar, navegar en kayak y nadar, y South Padre Island era su lugar feliz. Ana Karen también fue la primera de la familia Pedrero en regalar nietos, y sus hijos siempre fueron su máxima prioridad.

On Saturday morning, May 17th, 2025, our beloved Ana Karen Pedrero passed away unexpectedly. Ana Karen was a devoted daughter, sister, and mother who brought so much joy and energy to everyone around her. She was the life of the party, always making people laugh and feel welcome. Her love for the ocean was unmatched—she enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming, and South Padre Island was her happy place. Ana Karen was also the first in the Pedrero family to give the gift of grandchildren, and her children were always her top priority.

This loss has left our family heartbroken and facing the difficult task of arranging funeral services and burial for Ana Karen. In addition to these expenses, we are also facing legal fees to ensure her children remain with their grandparents, where they will be safe and cared for. We want to honor Ana Karen’s memory and give her the farewell she deserves, but the unexpected nature of her passing has created a financial burden for us.
