Support an unexpected tragedy
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Marina Burciaga and I am a Sophomore. Last Wednesday, me and my younger brother David and three older adult siblings lost our father to an unexpected tragedy, a sudden heart attack. My family and I are looking for help to pay for his services because he was the support of our family. These funds will help us pay for his funeral arrangements.
Below are some words from his children.
Yajaira Gutierrez (daughter, 38)- my father is and will be everything to me. He cared about everyone, an exemplary man. I never lived with him. I came to visit when I could see him. I came to Chicago. You will always live in my memories. He gave me advice and was an exemplary father.
Amanda Burciaga (daughter, 34)- my father, was a good example for me, he taught me to work and fight for my dreams, always an exemplary father who cared about his children, I will remember him forever in my heart and he will live in my mind forever.
Angel Avila (son, 29)- my father, was a calm caring individual. He was always there to listen to me when I needed advice. We had our days where we would laugh together in public. There was always a story he’d shared with me about his past life. I remember days where I knew he was not doing well and he took that in without complaining. He was hard working and just kept on going. I will forever miss my father’s laugh, smile, and presence.
Marina Burciaga (daughter, 15)- my dad since I was born, always looked out for me. He always made sure I was safe till this day in high school. He always mentioned how his life was back when he was younger. My dad has always been strong for his kids working everyday no matter what. He was a very responsible person. My dad respected everyone no matter what. My dad always spoiled me and my brother he never denied us anything. I will forever cherish the moments that I had with my dad. I will forever miss the person that cared for me when I wasn't well at school, made sure I was safe, and his presence in my daily life now ahead.
David Burciaga (son, 14)- my father was a good person, he always cared about me, he was everything, he was everything to me. He took me to school and picked me up every day now that he is no longer with me, I don't know what to do about everything he took me to the doctor for my therapies, a psychiatrist, to the doctor I behaved badly with him he advised me and I didn't want to listen to him and now that you're not here father I miss you more and every day that I don't see you it's very difficult. When he felt tired I helped him where I could he was a hard worker always responsible humble worker humorist never got into trouble I miss you daddy a lot a lot you were the pillar from home, you worked to pay rent and expenses and it is more difficult for my mother now that you aren't here it will be very difficult to face everything she will be a father and mother now I will try to be the best with her.
