Support an Unemployed Service Worker in NYC

A service worker and friend in NYC that is ineligible for unemployment will be out of work for the first few months of 2021 due to the pandemic.

They need community support to pay their rent, bills, and other necessities in order to maintain housing and stability during those months of unemployment.

They will have a job when the restaurant reopens but needs help for the months they will be unemployed and without financial support.

With $2,500 they can maintain their housing while they are unemployed.

Let's show up for an NYC service worker to help them maintain their housing and future employment. Housing is a human right!

For reasons of security they have requested to be anonymous. I (Sophie Walker) will receive the funds via my bank account and deliver them in cash, my friend's preferred method.

Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting. We appreciate and are grateful for the support!
