Hello community,
We are asking for your support in aiding one of our MCC community members during this difficult time.
One of our interns, who has asked to remain anonymous, has experienced a hardship: their family home was burglarized while no one was home. This family is low income and undocumented. Among the $24k worth of stolen and damaged property, their documentation was also stolen. Many material losses include paperwork, money, and technology, but most challenging losses have been irreplaceable objects such as heirlooms and sentimental items, including their sense of safety at home.
As members of such a vulnerable population they can not receive support from law enforcement and are asking for the support of the community to help them during this time.
