Hello and thank you for your time. Long story short, I'm facing homelessness.

Cut to the chase: I am an injured worker. My back went out while doing in-company construction. Work comp has rejected coverage, and my employer fired me due to this. I'm currently fighting to keep what I can and am in a legal battle over it. The result of that is looking good, but I have immediate issues.

During this event, my money and time went to fighting this case and getting treatment, despite my prior job not giving me recovery time or assistance. The dog you see in the cover is my canine companion I had to say goodbye to as a result of no support. They even forced me to use PTO for my appointments despite it being work comp.

Currently I am unable to find any work due to my injury, even with a recent surgery. Still waiting on disability to come through and trying to earn funds as possible.

This is a last-ditch effort to keep my home. I'm simply trying to live my life and it has been a very hard 2-year struggle. I'm on forbearance currently, but they chose not to extend it and I have a little over a month to pay it back.

Funds gained here will only be used for my monthly payment coming up. This will also include the unpaid forbearance of the past 5 months. Generosity and kindness should be appreciated and any gains will be used only for this. Afterwards, I believe I have enough to stand on my own, grace willing.

All I can do now is ask for help from anyone and everyone.
