The idea for this book began through an experience I had with my spirit guide, which inspired the central concept and the themes of memory, trauma, spirituality and hidden truths. It also reconnected me to Dragons Den more than twenty years ago.

With my background in psychology, I wanted to combine psychological ideas with a darker, more mysterious story. The result is a psychological and spiritual thriller about a man forced to confront memories he has buried for years.

The Story

Daniel Hart is haunted by the loss of his sister and begins experiencing strange dreams and waking repeatedly at 2:17 a.m. As he investigates, he discovers that his memories of the past may not be what he believed.

His search leads him towards a mysterious psychiatrist, Dr Lockmere, and an event from his childhood that someone has gone to great lengths to keep hidden.

What happened that night? Why does Daniel keep waking at 2:17? And what will happen when the forgotten truth finally emerges?
