Greetings.

For over 10 years I've been doing ministry at comic cons, board games conventions, and even anime shows. I have written and contributed to multiple devotional books for the fans of gaming, science fiction, fantasy, etc. that I meet at these shows. Approaching cons as an author gives me In 2026 I'm getting married and there is still work to be done.

I'm raising funds to offset the travel costs related to this work. Many of the shows I do are affordable, single day events. Some are two day shows that are a bit riskier financially. But there are three events I'm raising funds for that are more expensive. 1 of these events is a chance for networking and training. The other two are comic con or pop culture conventions that I can be a gentle Christian presence at.

The Nerd Culture Ministry Summit is at Glen Eyrie Castle just outside Colorado Springs, CO. This will feature main sessions, devotions, workshops, and time to spend with others interested in reaching the same community I reach. This will aid with flight costs (or train costs) as well as lodging.

The other two shows are FanExpo Chicago and GalaxyCon Columbus. This will aid with hotel costs for these shows and offset the table costs. I have tabled at both of these in the past (3 years at GalaxyCon and 1 year at FanExpo). I have also done Nerd Chapel, a church service at the con, at GalaxyCon on 3 occasions as well as fan discussion panels at GalaxyCon.

Please assist me as I train for and share the Gospel in a realm most Christians ignore (some by purposeful choice) while others demonize the hobbies and people in this community.
