I'm an adjunct professor, and have been for 10 years. Summers are usually tough because there are little to no teaching opportunities at the colleges I work at. But this summer is different because I have been dealing with health issues. While they are nothing serious, seeing doctors, going for tests, getting prescriptions, and so on, has piled up and now I'm struggling to make ends meet - including rent and bills.

I am freelancing as a writer and proofreader, but for now, it is not enough to get by. I'm searching like crazy for a job, whether its a temp job or a part-time job that I could keep working at when the Fall semester begins along with my classes. I'm doing what I can to obtain money. But time doesn't wait. That is why I'm hoping to get somewhere on GoFundMe.

The funds I get from here will go towards my rent, my utilities, my medical needs and bills, groceries, public transportation, and so on. Every little bit helps.
