Sahani nació a las 22 semanas de gestación, desafiando todos los pronósticos y superando los difíciles procesos del intensivo neonatal desde su primer día de vida. Hoy vive con múltiples condiciones médicas complejas, entre ellas parálisis cerebral, epilepsia, impedimento cortical visual y retraso global del desarrollo.

Soy una madre que vive sin un brazo y, como cuidadora principal de Sahani, cada traslado representa un gran reto físico y emocional. Aun así, nunca hemos dejado de luchar.

Hoy estamos recaudando fondos para poder adquirir un vehículo adaptado para ambas, especialmente diseñado para atender las necesidades médicas y de movilidad de Sahani, y también adaptado para mí como madre sin un brazo, permitiéndome transportarla de manera segura e independiente a sus citas médicas, terapias, hospitalizaciones y emergencias.

My name is Cathy Sue Cordero, and together with my daughter Sahani, we live a daily battle filled with love, faith, and resilience

Sahani was born at 22 weeks gestation, defying every prognosis and overcoming the challenges of the neonatal intensive care unit from her very first day of life. Today, she lives with multiple complex medical conditions, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, cortical visual impairment, and global developmental delay.

I am a mother living without one arm, and as Sahani’s primary caregiver, every transfer and transportation challenge is both physically and emotionally demanding. Even so, we have never stopped fighting.

Today, we are raising funds to purchase an adapted vehicle for both of us — a vehicle specially designed to accommodate Sahani’s medical and mobility needs while also being adapted for me as a mother without one arm, allowing me to safely and independently transport her to medical appointments, therapies, hospital visits, and emergencies.

Our goal is $120,000, and any donation, prayer, or share of this campaign means the world to us.
