PRAISE REPORT!
The $422 fee to process the family's visas to travel to the United States have been waived by an understanding and generous Dakar Travel Agency, who desires to help young Aboubakhry and his parents travel to the United States. So yesterday Mr. Sall met with a Certified Translator at Senegal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to begin the process of having his son’s medical records of eight years- ultrasounds, lab results, scans, x-rays, and doctors' report - -translated from French to English.

But there’s more...

Grateful: Mr. Sall is truly grateful for everyone helping his 8 years old son, who is in urgent need of a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of both his kidneys that are rapidly deteriorating,

Hopeful: He trusts readers like yourself won’t keep scrolling and ignore his son’s urgent need. I share the same sentiment. Because every child deserves to live a healthier life.

Still Believing: He knows that kind and generous people still exist — and he believes that you are one of them, so do I.

Give today.
Be kindhearted.

The Next Step ‍♂️
We need your support TODAY. We need to raise $500 today to ensure that Aboubakhry and his parents are fully vaccinated for their travel to America. Timing is critical. Every second counts.

Be a blessing to a child in need.

Because hope lives when compassion moves.

Thank you for being in support of Aboubakhry Sall.

Without it, his health continues to decline, but with it he has a chance to live a healthier life, and spend beautiful days with his family and friends in Dakar, Senegal.

Because of you, Aboubakhry and his parents’ passports are in progress. Amen!

Now we urgently need $500 today for medical exams and a series of mandatory vaccinations — the next step before a medical visa can be issued.

Please stand with us—Aboubakhry is fighting for his life.

"Compassion is the bridge between suffering and hope—let’s cross it together."

If you haven’t given, this is another opportunity to make a difference. If you have already donated, please consider donating again today. No amount is too small.

Aboubakhry's health struggles began when he was a fetus. Because of complications during his mother's pregnancy, Aboubakhry was born without posterior urethral valves—tiny structures in the urinary tract that normally help control urine flow. Without them, his bladder could not empty properly.

Tests also showed opacification of the left ureter during urination, which means there was a blockage causing urine to flow backward into the kidney. This condition, known as left vesicoureteral reflux, left urine trapped in his body, leading to repeated infections.

The reality is, Aboubakhry was born with one kidney that never developed properly (a non-functional “mute” kidney). His other kidney has had to do all the work on its own, becoming enlarged and strained from eight years of overuse.

Since the day Aboubakhry was born, he has lived with repeated infections and chronic pain. He is only eight years old, yet much of his childhood has been spent suffering and seeing doctors who don't specialize in pediatric nephrology.

His parents watch helplessly as their son suffers.

At this point, Mr. Sall told me that he has no other option but to seek medical care in the United States. With tears in his eyes, he humbly asked me to help his family navigate the possibility of bringing his son to America for treatment—and that is how this GoFundMe campaign of hope and compassion began.

Now, we need your help.

Again, we are urgently trying to raise $500 to cover the cost of medical examinations and vaccinations, the next critical step in this campaign. We've already raised $495 but we still need this final $500 to move forward.

Please join us in making sure Aboubakhry does not have to suffer another day without the care he needs. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him closer to relief, healing, and hope for a brighter future.

Every child deserves relief from pain; your gift can make it happen.

Give a little, change a lot—a child’s life is waiting.

Thank you for your donation, and please share this information with other kind-hearted individuals.

With gratitude
