My name is Kaitlynn Plante and on Tuesday the 17th my mom, Amy Skidmore, was hit on her motorcycle while driving home from work. The person who hit her, hit her from behind pushing her into a ditch and fled the scene. She is okay and in the hospital but sustained multiple injuries from the crash! She had a brain bleed with swelling, a concussion, struggling with her short term memory, a broken tibia, and 3 broken ribs. She has since been released from the trauma unit but is still in the hospital with no discharge in sight currently. The Hospital is requesting a handicap accessible ramp be put into their home before her being released. She may also need in home care once being released. My parents are ones to be known to take people in under their wing, be supportive, and help any in need. I know they would rather try, struggle, and figure out finances on their own, but my mom while be on bed rest and wheelchair bond due to her injuries, resulting in my dad also being out of work for some time. Any donation would help towards medical bills, groceries, car, mortgage, and a handicap ramp rental for my parents home! I would like to thank everyone in advance
