On Monday, June 9th, my mom had an unexpected episode that resulted in a hospital visit. After many imaging tests and blood results, the doctor informed us she needed open-heart surgery! We were in complete shock and utterly in disbelief. She was transported to Baylor Dallas later that evening. There, we met with Dr. Sbrocchi, her surgeon, as he explained the surgery she would need. She needed additional imaging and blood work to know the exact surgery he would be performing. Today, June 17th, she had a successful open-heart surgery! She is currently in ICU and will be in the hospital for the next week. Once discharged, she will start cardiac rehab.

If you know Amy, you know she is the kindest and sweetest person there is. She would give the shirt off her back for you. If you have been to IHOP, you have probably seen her or she has waited on you. With that being said, she is unable to work for the next 2 months. I would love to help her out and take some stress off of her. These funds will help out and take the worry off of her during her time to focus on healing. This will help out with the medical bills, gas, food, and living expenses.
