My name is Amy, and I recently broke my dominant arm. This injury has completely changed my daily life. I’m unable to work right now, and even simple activities have become a struggle. For over a week, I couldn’t even use the bathroom on my own. It’s been a humbling and challenging experience, and I’m doing my best to adapt each day.
While I do have short-term disability insurance, it only covers a portion of my usual pay. On top of that, I need to buy more prepared foods since cooking is difficult, and those meals are much more expensive. I also have to attend frequent doctor appointments and rehab sessions to recover, but since I can’t drive, getting to these appointments is another added expense.
I know it’s the holidays, and the economy isn’t kind to most of us now, but any help is greatly appreciated. If you can’t afford a monetary donation, your well wishes and prayers are just as important. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer during this difficult time.
