Hi! My name is Amy, and this September I will be beginning a year at Holy Family Mission House in Ireland. Along with other young people from around the world, I will be committing myself to a year of prayer, formation, and mission. We will live together in community, growing in our faith and being equipped to serve others and share the unconditional love of Jesus. We will also help lead school retreats for children preparing for the sacraments, as well as retreats for high school students and parish groups.

My personal journey to this point has been one of healing and transformation. After a serious car accident in 2020 left me with chronic pain and disability, I was in emotional and spiritual darkness. But when I cried out to the Lord, He met me in my brokenness and began to heal me. Through prayer, worship, Eucharistic adoration and volunteering at events such as Craig lodge family week and Generation hope summer camp; I have experienced His love in a powerful and life changing way and feel called to help others, especially young people, know that same love and freedom in Christ.

I believe this mission year is the next step in God’s plan for me, and I am so excited to give this time fully to Him and to serve others. To take part, I need to raise £3,800, which will cover my accommodation, food, transport, study and formation throughout the year. By supporting me, you are not only helping to make this year possible but also partnering with me in sharing God’s hope and mercy.
