Help Support Amy on Her Journey to a Double Lung Transplant

Amy is a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who has been battling an autoimmune lung disease since 2014. She is currently on supplemental oxygen 24/7, and her doctors at the Cleveland Clinic have recommended a double lung transplant, which is estimated to cost over $2 million. To make this life-saving procedure possible, Amy and her family need financial assistance for housing near the hospital for up to six months, as well as funds for medications not covered by insurance, food, transportation, and to support her husband while he is off work helping her recover.

Throughout Amy’s illness, her husband, Chris, has been the sole provider, ensuring she receives the care she needs at the Cleveland Clinic. As they navigate this difficult journey, we hope to alleviate some of the financial burden on Chris, so he can focus on being by her side without the added stress of covering all the expenses on his own. In addition, I (her daughter, Jaide), will be one of the caretakers for my mom during her recovery and communicating back-and-forth from Toledo, OH to Cleveland, OH.
