My name is Loretta, and I’m fundraising for one of my best friends Amy England, who has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer. When given this diagnosis, she made the decision to proceed with surgery. Unfortunately she has since learned that the cancer has spread and she is now facing chemotherapy, with radiation to follow which will take her well into the new year. During this time she will be unable to continue working. Also, due to the fact that she isn’t working she will need to cover her own expenses and cover the costs to keep her benefits active to ensure all of her medication and treatments are covered. A little about Amy England

Amy is an amazing friend to many, a loving partner to Scott, A wonderful mom to Charlotte, Eva and Ben and a bonus mom to Bella and Sarah. They are a beautiful blended family who stick together and are praying for a miracle.

Amy is well known to the village of Richmond as she worked at Richmond Care Home for over 20 years. She has cared for so many Women and their families, helping to guide them through the next steps of their disease processes, and most importantly, holding the hands of those who need it most… “The Residents” or as Amy called them Her “Ladies”!

Over the past several months, Amy’s life has completely transformed while having to deal with this horrible diagnosis. However; she has shown incredible resilience and she has been facing IT with grace and an amazingly positive attitude.
