Dear friends, family, and art supporters,
I’m reaching out to share a deeply personal and challenging moment. Although I live in Studio City, my art studio, including most of my inventory and supplies, were all tragically lost in the Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA. This unexpected loss has been devastating, not just emotionally but also professionally, as my studio was the heart of my artistic practice and livelihood.
As a full-time artist, I've been working in the Los Angeles art scene for 10 years. My studios were always more than a workspace—they were sanctuaries where I poured my creativity into works inspired by nature, healing, and sustainability. My most recent studio (located in the evacuation zone from the Eaton Fire) was lost, but I’m determined to recover and continue creating art that connects and uplifts.
I’m asking for your support to recover from this setback. Your generous donations will go directly toward:
- Replacing essential art supplies (paints, brushes, canvases, wood panels, etc.)
- Securing a new workspace to resume creating art
- Supporting my ability to fulfill pending projects and art commitments
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with your community would be an incredible way to show support.
Art has always been my way of giving back to the world, whether through public art projects, teaching, or donating pieces to nonprofits. With your help, I can continue that mission and rebuild my artistic practice stronger than ever.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Together, we can turn this loss into a new beginning.
With gratitude,
Amy
