My niece Amya was recently diagnosed with a rare carcinoid tumor that's currently blocking 80% of her lung capacity. After much deliberation, it has been decided that the best course of action will be to remove her lung. Surgery is scheduled for mid- April. This is a very invasive surgery with a long recovery and Amya will be unable to work or perform normal duties for a while.

This page is to help take some of the financial burden and stress off of Amya so she can focus on healing and processing all of the emotions that comes with a major life interruption like one.
