Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother-in-law Amy Taylor, who has been facing an incredibly difficult medical and financial crisis.

On December 13, she was hospitalized due to kidney stones that turned into sepsis, along with Influenza A. What started as a medical emergency quickly became a life-threatening situation. She spent 15 days in the hospital, unable to work or manage her day-to-day responsibilities.

Because of this extended hospitalization, she has fallen behind on essential bills. While she was in the hospital, her apartment complex towed her car, which remained impounded for 7 days before her children were able to retrieve it. Shortly after returning home, she was also served with an eviction notice, adding even more stress during a time when she should be focusing on healing.

As if that weren’t enough, she is now preparing for two upcoming surgeries scheduled for January 14 and January 21, which means she will continue to be unable to work and will face even more medical expenses.

The funds raised will go toward:

    •    Medical bills from her hospital stay and upcoming surgeries

    •    Rent and household bills to prevent eviction

    •    Transportation costs and car-related expenses

    •    Basic living expenses while she recovers

She is a hardworking, loving mother who never imagined needing to ask for help, but right now she truly needs support to get through this incredibly challenging time.
